Your mission
We are now looking for a Negotiation Officer for the Tenant Association Mitt, located in Borlänge. The position is a temporary contract starting as soon as possible and lasting until December 31, 2026.
As a Negotiation Officer, you will have a broad and varied role where you will both support the negotiators in ongoing negotiation work and be responsible for important administrative processes within the negotiation area.
Your role includes working with negotiations and contacts with property owners, managing member contacts and simpler member issues, conducting apartment inspections, and assisting with utility valuations. You may also have sole responsibility for certain negotiations.
At the same time, you will be responsible for administrative tasks related to the negotiation operations, such as making additions, registering renovations, updating information in systems, compiling statistics, and ensuring that materials and documentation are of high quality.
The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in negotiations and other parts of the organization and requires both structure, service orientation, and the ability to switch between administrative and more outward-facing tasks.
Your background
To succeed as a Negotiation Officer, you should have experience as an officer or similar, possess analytical skills, and have a systematic approach to work. You should be flexible, service-oriented, and communicative, both verbally and in writing. It is important that you enjoy collaborating with others while also being able to work independently and that you have the ability to focus in pressured situations.
We are looking for someone who:
Qualifications:
- Relevant education in law or economics.
- Work experience as an officer or similar.
- Good system skills and comfort in working with Excel.
Meritorious:
- Experience with property or rental-related processes.
- Experience negotiating with property owners or other corresponding parties.
- Knowledge of utility valuation and apartment inspections.
- Experience working in a non-profit organization.
Personal qualities:
- Service-oriented, flexible, and professional.
- Communicative, you express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
- Structured and meticulous, you create order and overview in your work.
- Solution-oriented and able to handle change and uncertain situations.
- A team player, you thrive in collaborations but can also drive your own processes forward.
